Just a Moment
It is one of the recently built temple in Vrindavan in the honour of Godess Vaishno devi. The highlight of the temple of course remains the 140+ ft tall image of the eight-armed Maa riding a 50ft tall Lion with Hanumanji’s Statute infront of Maa with folded hands seeking Maa’s blessings.. A Mandir having Asthdhatu’s Murti (6 ½ “) tall in Maa’s honour is below the statue, within the precincts of this 11-acre land..
Maa Vaishno Devi is believed to grant all four boons to her devotees, namely, Dharma (Righteousness), Artha (Material Pursuits), Kaama (Contentment) and Moksha (Enlightenment). Sh. J C. Chaudhry is the Managing Trustee and the founder of Maa Vaishno Devi Dham at Vridavan. With his staunch belief in Maa Vaishno Devi, who has always acted as a source of support and inspiration for him, he set out to establish an Dham which will give all the devotees of Maa Vaishno Devi an opportunity to worship their Goddess and serve the poor along side. His idea of an Dham for devotees could not have been complete without the magnificent Maa Vaishno Murti (standing at an impressive height of 141ft from ground level), Devi Mandir, Darshan Gufa, Bhojanalaya, Free Dispensary, Dharamshalas, Spritual Hall, Meditation Hall, Yoga Hall and Library etc. In his quest to reciprocate to the Goddess for all her love, care and blessings, Sh. Chaudhry built the Maa Vaishno Dham in Vridavan. The place of Dham is itself a very holy place because of it being credited with the place of Lord Krishna childhood. This grand contribution by Sh. Chaudhry's is his endevour to relinquish it back to society through his religious involvements.
